About The Publisher: Kierstan Ellis

Welcome to the Macaroni KID family! 

I'm Kierstan, your local Macaroni KID publisher for the town of Moncks Corner (and other Berkeley county areas). I graduated from Shenandoah University in 2019 with a bachelor's degree in English. Now, I am going through an online Master's in Social Work degree program at Liberty University. My love for networking, children, and writing were all bundled into my decision of joining Macaroni KID. 

As a young girl, I lived in Myrtle Beach for a little while. After moving back to South Carolina in 2019, we settled in Charleston. I had my first daughter in 2020 (yup, pandemic baby), and we went from a one-bedroom apartment to a two-bedroom. A year later, we decided to a buy a house out in Moncks Corner. In November of 2021 we had keys to our new home in one hand and a positive pregnancy test in the other. So then came my second bundle of joy in 2022! Funny how these things happen, huh? 

As a parent here in Moncks Corner, I saw a true need for our families in this town. It is daunting trying to find all the things happening around us, and with the drive it takes to get from place-to-place I like to have true confirmation on events before I load these kids up! I hope to bring you all the events, recipes, product reviews, business introductions, and so much more!
